Cadzand is proud of its Bathing Status! This is official recognition from experts who have established that Cadzand is actually a healthy, clean and relaxing environment to stay in. Demonstrably better than all other seaside resorts! In the Netherlands, only Domburg and Noordwijk also have Bastatus recognition. Cadzand's beaches also fly the Blue Flag every year. This is recognition of clean beaches and clean swimming water.

Blue Flag

In Cadzand the beaches and bathing water are safe and clean! That's why the Blue Flag has been flying here for years. To be precise, at the beach pavilions Caricole (beach crossing Badhuis) and De Zeemeeuw (on the Zwinstrand)! The beaches at these two pavilions meet all strict criteria. Including a lifeguard station. Because the beaches around the other beach pavilions in Cadzand do not have a lifeguard station, they do not meet all the criteria for the Blue Flag. However, lifeguards are active on all Cadzand beaches! On foot, by car and by boat.

Cadzand is teeming with wellbeing activities. Which is great. Because being active really clears your head. It makes you feel good.
